Abstract | dmscp-agent transfers files to/from a remote object on a remote server from/to the local host. It reads from stdin or a local file resp. and writes to stdout or a local file resp. Any local file type is permitted. The amount of data transmitted is compaired to the size of the remote object. The remote object can be a regular file or a set of regular files (fragments). The first fragment (stub) has (by default) a size of 4 KB, the other fragments are of equal size. dmscp-agent has to be installed on the remote server in the search path of the remote user. It doesn't require any special attributes. |
