UNICOS->IRIX DMF Conversion

• • Dump the filesystem and DMF database info. on the source machine

• Transfer the information to the IRIX machine and convert the databases to IRIX DMF format

• Recable tape drives, start DMF and go home

• Recreate original filesystem directory structure on IRIX machine, inserting a new bfid into each inode converted from the handle for the corresponding file on the original machine
