Conclusions: Vis5DR Format

• Vis5DR format is essentially close to Vis5D (all differences are in the header, same format for data)

• Vis5DR is still not a full port, it is rather a working bridge between CrayT3E and a variety of Vis5D-compatible platforms

• Vis5DR supports database-writing on the CrayT3E side and a fast transfer to true Vis5D on Vis5D-compatible platforms
