Notes:
A Beowulf cluster is a collection of commodity computer components dedicated to parallel computation. This popular solution was developed by the Open Source community and has found its way into a number of production environments.
Nodes on a Beowulf parallel computer are connected via a private network. Only the Head Node, Host Node or Manager Node may be visible to outside world
The Head Node is reserved for login, compiling, and managing running applications.
