Travel Information

Where is Albuquerque?

From the Albuquerque Convention and Visitor's Bureau web site, "Albuquerque's roads lead to some of the most breathtaking scenery and attractions in New Mexico. The towering Sandia Mountains are a dramatic backdrop for Petroglyph National Monument and Coronado State Monument on the west side. Get back to nature and walk along the cottonwood-lined river at the Rio Grande Nature Center or take a drive along the Sandia Crest National Scenic Byway to the summit of the Sandia Mountains and catch a sunrise or sunset, it's like nothing you've ever seen before. While you are there you won't want to miss taking a ride on the world's longest aerial tram, the Sandia Peak Aerial Tramway. For more information visit www.sandiapeak.com.
