VenueThe CUG 2012 conference will be held in Stuttgart at the Maritim Hotel. Please reference the room block Cray User Group when making reservations to ensure rate and availability. Maritim Hotel Guests may make reservations by contacting the Maritim Reservations Office at +49 (0) 711 942-1210. Reference the Room Block HOC200512 and Cray User Group to ensure both rate and availability. You may also make your reservation directly with the Maritim using the link provided here. The original deadline for reservations at the conference rate was 5 March 2012. CUG has negotiated a small number of additional rooms that will be available through the same room block HOC200512 through 6 April 2012 (the close of Regular Registration). After 6 April 2012, rooms will be subject to availability and rate. The room block includes availability beginning on 27 April, and extending until 5 May to accomodate your extended travel plans. |

Internet AccessWired and Wireless Access in Guest Rooms. Wireless in Conference SpaceGuest rooms include both wired and wireless access options. Wired connections are provided by the hotel for a daily additional fee. Wireless is provided via T-Mobile's HotSpot service, with coverage in the guest rooms. Wireless coverage will be provided in the conference area on a separate network. |

Dining ServicesThe conference registration fee includes morning and afternoon refreshments as well as lunch for the duration of the conference. Breakfast is included in the conference hotel room rate. Special dietary requirements should be noted on the conference registration form. |

FreuhlingsfestThis years conference takes place at the same time as the annual Spring Festival, Freuhlingsfest. We have 125 tickets sponsored by Data Direct Networks to hand out at registration. Tickets include access to Grandls Hofbrau Tent, 1/2 a chicken, and 3 litres of beer. You may substitute other beverages for the beer if you choose. You will be asked at registration if you plan to attend this event. Since we only have 125 tickets and teh tent is sold out, we ask that if your plans change that you return the ticket we may redistribute it. |

Cray Inc SocialOn Tuesday evening, Cray invites all registered CUG 2012 attendees (badge required) and their guests to a dinner reception at the Vinum im Literaturhaus restaurant, from 18:30 to 21:30. Vinum is located within walking distance of the Maritim hotel and conference center at Breitscheidstraße 4. |

CUG Night OutThe CUG 2012 Night Out begins with a 90 minute tour of the Mercedes-Benz Museum. Buses will provide transportation to this amazing experience as you walk through history, viewing the the vehicles producing from the very beginning to modern day. After the Mercedes-Benz Museum tour, buses will take to Schloss Solitude (Solitude Castle) for a reception and dinner. |
