Transportation to/from London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports
The quickest way to acces the hotel from both airports is by train.
The fastest journey to downtown London from Heathrow is via the Heathrow Express to Paddington, you then take the Circle Line (towards Baker Street via King’s Cross St. Pancras) to Aldgate or Tower Hill, both are a short walk from the hotel. You may also opt for a taxi from Paddington, the taxi cost will be £25-£30 and you should be prepared to pay with cash. You may prebook a ticket on the Heathrow Express via the Heathrow Express App or purchase tickets at the airport, a roundtrip ticket (return valid for 1 month from departure) purchased in advance will cost approximately £28.
We also suggest purchasing an oyster card and adding funds to the card as needed (£30 is likely sufficient for the week) so you will only be charged for individual journeys and your charges will be capped daily which can save you nearly 50% over purchasing single all day unlimited passes. If you have time to purchase in advance you can also purchase a visitor oyster card before leaving home for further savings. Neither oyster card can be used for the Heathrow Express but they’re valid on the Underground, Buses, and the Gatwick Express.
From London Heathrow you can also opt to only use the Underground taking the Piccadilly Line to Hammersmith, where you should change to the District Line to Tower Hill. The hotel is a short walk from Tower Hill underground station.
From London Gatwick you should take the Gatwick Express to London Victoria Rail Station. From Victoria you can take either the Circle Line or District Line to Tower Hill underground where the hotel is found after a short walk.
