Local area attractions

Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island (https://www.nps.gov/stli/index.htm)

Both are of significant historical value to the United States and worthy of a visit. Please note that tickets are limited and there are various options.  I recommend a visit to Lady Liberty’s “Crown”.  You will get to see the entire inner structure and you climb the staircases for a view out of her crown.  Also consider the “Hard Hat” tour of Ellis island.

Both Ellis Island and Liberty Island are accessible from Liberty State Park (New Jersey) and Battery Park (New York City).
