2026 HPC Tests Workshop

You are cordially invited to attend the HPC Tests Workshop, a CUG 2026 satellite event hosted by CINES and sponsored by HPE and AMD, to be held in Nice, France on April 25, 2026. Please note that registration for this workshop is separate from CUG 2026 registration and seating is limited.

This workshop brings together HPC experts, system engineers, and vendors from around the world to continue the exchange of ideas on HPC system testing methodologies, tools, procedures, and best practices. Building on the success of the inaugural HPCTestathon held at CUG 2024, the workshop will provide a focused forum for sharing practical experience, comparing approaches across sites, and capturing lessons learned.

As a follow-on to HPCTestathon 2024, HPCTestathon 2026 will emphasize consolidating prior discussions and test inventories while welcoming new challenges, test cases, and emerging topics. The goal is to foster deep technical discussion and produce updated, participant-driven recommendations for the HPC community.

The event will be hosted at the Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur and will include a guided tour of the Universarium and the Grand Dome, featuring a demonstration of the Eiffel Dome’s movement and the giant telescope—highlighting the scientific heritage of the venue.  Transportation will be provided to and from the CUG Conference Hotel.
