Hotel Reservations
The CUG room rate is $269 + taxes and is available from Thursday 6th May – Saturday 15th May, 2027. The link to reservations will be announced later.
Badge and Registration Material Pick-up
Badges and registration materials will be available for pick-up at the CUG registration desk during conference hours and at the Sunday welcome reception.

All attendees must wear their CUG issued registration badge during CUG Conference activities.
Smoking Policy
There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside the Conference venue.

The closest airport to the conference hotel is George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH).
What are my transportation options for getting to the event?
Option 1: Taxi (simplest, no app needed)
- Where to get it: Follow airport signs for the official taxi stand outside baggage claim.
- Time: ~25–45 minutes (traffic dependent)
Option 2: Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) (usually fastest to request)
- Where to meet: Use the airport’s designated rideshare pickup zone (the app will guide you to the correct door/letter).
- Time: ~25–45 minutes
Option 3: Public transit (cheapest, but slowest + a transfer)
If you’re traveling light and don’t mind extra time:
- Step 1: Take METRO Bus 102 (Bush IAH Express) from the airport to Downtown Transit Center
- Time: ~50–75 minutes (service/traffic dependent)
- Step 2: From there, either:
- Walk ~10–20 minutes to Marriott Marquis Houston, or
- Take a short local bus/rail hop depending on timing and your exact stop.
- Total time: ~75–110 minutes (varies a lot by wait times)
Option 4: Rental car (best if you’ll be driving a lot)
